OAKS, CA—Who do you call to get Title Insurance Forms in Ireland?
Where can you get the scoop on handling the ten most common escrow
problems for California Lawyers? Answers
to these questions and more reside in the First
American Title Underwriting Library v. 4.0.® First
American's latest release of the Underwriting
Library has been updated to reflect the latest changes in the title
insurance industry. The award
winning product is available on a web-enabled CD-ROM and provides quick
access to First American's massive repository of national and
international real estate information.
Engineered by Eureka Publishing and powered by the powerful Folio™
search engine, the CD-ROM is available through First American Title
Insurance Company's agents, or by contacting First American's corporate
offices. The
Underwriting Library v.
4.0 represents a major upgrade. Coverage
of First American's international offices is unprecedented.
The look and feel of the Underwriting
Library is fresh and modern and ties in nicely with First American's
corporate Web site. Behind the screens is a new underlying search and
presentation environment, facilitating the end-user experience.
Product enhancements include new options for customizing and
personalizing information, printing features and the addition of
hypergraphics ("hotspots") that let you click on a map to view
information for a specific geography. Mary
Powell, Assistant Vice President, Electronic Support for First American
Title Insurance Company, elaborates on the Web-enabled features: "In
keeping with First American’s dedication to maintain its leading-edge
technical advantage, the Underwriting
Library has been developed to include links from your desktop version
CD-ROM right to the Internet." The
Internet release of the updated Underwriting
Library is anticipated for mid-November, 1999. "Our
customers wanted a way to navigate more easily through the Underwriting Library. They specifically wanted the ability to
navigate horizontally, not having to go back to the beginning to navigate
to another volume. This was accomplished by upgrading the software to
Folio 4 Infobase technology," she stated. For
