solutions company in Southern California, announced today that Version 1.1 of LandAmerica
SingleSource™ is now available from LandAmerica Financial Group,
Inc.
SingleSource is a dynamic training and reference tool for the title industry. It is a CD-ROM compilation of underwriting information, policy-writing guidelines, quality review standards, forms, and more. It is available at no charge to LandAmerica’s agents and selected customers.
Version 1.1 includes more state-specific forms and a way to find policies and endorsements by form number (e.g., ALTA 4), direct links from some underwriting topics to state-specific information, a more complete Keyword Index that allows you to use multiple terms or phrases to find information, and an improved search capability so you can find terms not included in the index.
Eureka’s Neville Suzman, who worked closely with LandAmerica on Version 1.1, said, "The improvements will provide easier and speedier navigation." Suzman adds, "SingleSource v1.1 is published in Folio 4 technology which provides a robust authoring environment on the backend. The frontend is endowed with powerful and user-friendly searching and personalization features employed by high-end publishers."
Cinda Polley, Special Projects Manager at LandAmerica National Headquarters in Richmond, Virginia, states that Version 1.1 reaffirms LandAmerica’s commitment to providing diversified, up-to-date services to its agents and offers them a “strong incentive to work with LandAmerica underwriters.”
Polley noted that “Eureka has consistently put in extra effort to create a product that functions the way we want it to. Rather than provide shortcuts when we ask for something that is very complex, they go back to the drawing board to re-think how we are doing something and always come back with just the right solution.”
Long-term plans call for moving SingleSource to LandAmerica’s intranet and then to the Internet. Version 2 of the CD-ROM tool is currently under development and will contain much more content (specifically more underwriting topics and more state-specific information) as well as other improvements.
